Для привнесения в композицию свежести добавляется Chardonnay (20%). Выдерживается напиток в меловых погребах 3 года. APPEARANCE

A pale and sparkling yellow robe, suggestive of vivacity.

NOSE

The Grand Brut is delicate, elegant and balanced. The striking freshness and vivacity of the floral and fruity fragrances (yellow fruits and fresh fruits) take root, before giving way to subtle notes of vanilla and butter, lending the wine a fruity and consistent character.

The notes of cherry plum, lemon and bergamot orange emerge first, then make way for the flowers of fruit trees, such as lime and honeysuckle. These are followed by notes of butter, madeleine cakes and vanilla sugar. Lingering notes of grapefruit, white peaches, green pears, apple trees and green hazelnuts round off the taste.

PALATE

Ampleness and vivacity balance out in the mouth, developing into a flavour of round and vinous elegance.

A fresh, balanced champagne with a long finish. Its flavours are best revealed between 7 and 9°.

In 1902, Emile Gallé designed a delicate spray of anemones to be engraved on the prestigious cuvées of Perrier-Jouët Champagnes. The House has remained loyal to this artistic heritage ever since. The same tradition gave rise to Beauting: a vision of gastronomy which embraces Beauty and Good Food, turning each dish into a work of art, in perfect harmony with each cuvée. A unique sensory experience and a feast for the eye and the palate alike.

The subtlety of the Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut cuvée and its floral and fruity fragrances will magnificently reveal the delicate flavours of Bresse poultry and the sweetness of vanilla aromas, heightened by the vivacity of Meyer lemons. A bouquet which will perfectly complement the generosity of root vegetables or the freshness of baby carrots and asparagus.

WINE MAKING NOTES

AN ELEGANT DELICACY IN THE FLORAL, STYLISH AND DIAMOND-CUT STYLE OF THE HOUSE OF PERRIER-JOUËT

1856. Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut, the first Brut champagne was created by Perrier-Jouët, in a search for perfection and quality.

In his desire to keep his English clients satisfied, the then Cellar Master decided to significantly reduce the amount of sugar in his cuvées and thus unveil the finesse of his compositions. And so was born the first Brut champagne, the world's most frequently tasted champagne. Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut is a direct heir of this tradition.

Today, Hervé Deschamps, the House's 7th Cellar Master, pursues this same quest for excellence and has made it his personal mission to uphold the heritage, recreating the Perrier-Jouët style with each cuvée, a balance of charm and elegance. In the tradition of creative craftsmanship that is the hallmark of the House, the Cellar Master composes each wine in its entirety separately, following his sudden intuitions, making each cuvée a unique work of art.

For the first Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut, the composition is 40% based on the vinosity and the structure of the pinot noir from the grands crus and premiers crus of the Mailly, Verzy, Aÿ and Rilly-la Montagne terroirs. Noble and subtle, these pinot noirs bring out the fruitiness of the charming and generous meuniers of the Dizy, Damery, Venteuil or Vincelles and Vinay terroirs (40% of the composition).

Finally the chardonnays of the grand crus of Cramant, Avize, Le Mesnil and Chouilly, which make up 20% of the composition, lend an added touch of freshness and minerality. To attain the perfection demanded by Perrier-Jouët the bottles are kept for three years in the House's chalk cellars, located under the Avenue de Champagne, the historic heart of the label of origin.

Dosage: 10g/l - 12 to 14% of the reserve wines (wines from two or three previous years).

APPEARANCE:

The Belle Epoque Rosé 2004 is graced with a luminous rose robe with hints of orange, complemented with a touch of yellow. Long-lasting bubbles.

NOSE:

Both delicate and complex, the Belle Epoque Rosé 2004 masterfully blends the aromas of flowers and fruits. The fragrance of peonies gives way to notes of fresh red fruits (raspberries and strawberries), citrus (oranges and pink grapefruit), and finally pomegranate.

PALATE:

A fresh and refined sensation, with notes of fresh pomegranate and pink grapefruit. Round, supple and harmonious, the Belle Epoque Rosé 2004 develops a silky long finish in the mouth.

Delicious with desserts that combine the fondant with the crunchy, its flavours will express themselves consummately if served between 10 and 12° (the temperature can also be slightly higher if accompanying a meal). If conditions allow, you may keep your Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé 2004 for over ten years.

The Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque Rosé 2004 cuvee boasts an expert balance of floral and fruity notes, which will be unveiled to perfection by contrasting flavours. Its refinement will be perfectly expressed with shellfish, such as lobster tails sautéed with seaweed butter, accompanied by raw chicory leaves and wakame with green apples.

As a dessert, the sweetness of panna cotta lifted by the acidity of a blood orange and pink grapefruit jelly and accompanied by a crunchy meringue will sublimely echo the multi-sensorial experience evoked by this cuvee.

WINE MAKING NOTES

A MULTI-SENSORIAL EXPERIENCE, IMBUED WITH ELEGANCE, IN THE PUREST PERRIER-JOUËT STYLE

A fine balance between the character of the year and the floral, stylish, diamond-cut style that is the hallmark of Perrier-Jouët, the Belle Epoque Rosé 2004 is crafted in the purest traditions of the House.

The bottle with the iconic anemone, designed in 1902 by Emile Gallé, one of the leading figures of the Art Nouveau movement, expresses the floral elegance which characterises the Belle Epoque Rosé cuvée. It reveals the wine's delicate colour as if in homage to the outstanding Perrier-Jouët vineyards, ranked at 99.2% on the scale of qualitative wines.

Floral, stylish and diamond-cut, the Belle Epoque Rosé 2004 was crafted by Hervé Deschamps, the 7th Cellar Master at Perrier-Jouët, following a tradition that stretches back over 200 years. As with the Belle Epoque cuvée, the wines are selected vat by vat and developed one by one. The composition is carried out with the greatest precision, thus ensuring that the nuances of each individual wine are fully savoured.

The 2004 vintage was as generous as nature itself. The winter frosts left the vineyards intact, and a cool June prolonged the flowering season, while an Indian summer blessed the fruits with optimal maturity. The grapes finally achieved a perfect balance between sweetness and sharpness. The quality of the must seemed to herald a grand cru – a promise that was amply kept. In order to achieve this harmonious balance between the generosity of the year and the Perrier-Jouët style, Hervé Deschamps uses the Cramant and Avize grands crus, drawing on the elegance and minerality of their Chardonnays. They make up 45% of the composition.

The power of the fruity and delicate notes of the pinot noir from the Montagne de Reims terroir account for 50% of the composition, while the Dizy pinot meunier wine (5%) lends the fragrance of mature red fruits, coupled with roundness and balance. Hervé Deschamps selected grapes of particular redness in order to be able to reduce their proportion in the composition. The chardonnays thus reveal the fullness of their elegance and finesse.
