Barton&Guestier Passeport Beaujolais-Villages Gamay AOC - это прекрасное вино родилось в легендарной Бургундии, сделано из 100% винограда селекционного сорта Гаме, выращенного исключительно в аппеласьоне Божоле. Сбор происходит вручную, ферментация по специальной рецептуре. Красивого вишнево-красного цвета. Вкус насыщенный, мягкий, округлый, благодаря танинам, продолжительное пряное послевкусие. Букет яркий интенсивный, преобладает фруктовый аромат малины, вишни, ежевики. Великолепно подходит к мясным блюдам, салатам, курице гриль, сырам, самая лучшая температура подачи вина 14 -16°С.

...The 2003 Barton & Guestier Beaujolais ($9) is a lesson both in the virtues of patience and the vagaries of nature... Its aromas are typically Beaujolais: primarily floral, with some Concord grape, earth, soy sauce and mushroom. On the palate, the wine is light and unusually fruity, with flavors of Concord grape and red plum, floral notes and hints of soy sauce. Unlike heavier reds, this very pleasant wine would be good chilled on an Indian summer afternoon. Its light body and relatively low alcohol (12.5 percent) make it a good choice when you're having traditionally white-wine food (white-flesh fish or shellfish) but want a red wine...

WINE OF THE WEEK
This vintage of the B&G Beaujolais has unsually ripe fruit, along with the light body and floral aromas we expect from Beaujolais. Its primary flavors are Concord grape and red plum with hints of soy sauce and floral notes. It's very pleasant slightly chilled, to about 60 degrees, and quaffed outside on a warm day. Or, serve it at cellar temperature (65 degrees) with dinner. The light body and relatively low alcohol (12.5 percent) make it an excellent match with all kinds of food — even foods you normally wouldn't have with red wine, such as shellfish (mussels with fried potatoes would be great) or white-flesh fish. If you haven't tried Beaujolais wines before, the unusual 2003 vintage is an easy introduction.
